Are you sure you entered your hockeystreams.com login information correctly? Check, then double check again.

when i try to enter it at the playon plugin tab, i get "an error occured when loading the options dialog",a stupid question is do i need a paid sub. to hockeystreams? i did sign up-jim

Try deleting the script then download the trial version (I assume you're using the trial version) again because you should not be getting any sort of error.

I am having problems with this plugin on both PS3 and WDTV Live. I get to the game list for todays stream but when I try to open a game it says "Unable to play format" on WDTVL and "Network Error (00000000) on the Ps3. I am able to play Hulu fine on both devices so there is no issues with my connection. I have the 7 day trial and my login info is correct. I have tried restarting the server multiple times..

installed scripted in C:\Program FilesMediaMall\plugins\Scripts; i also get the "incompatable script" error with ps3 and windows xp.

I apologize for the delay in my response hockey1, the bug you have reported occurs randomly for some users but has been fixed with the latest release. Please download the new version of the script to ensure everything works properly.

mbudwal if possible please re-download the trial version as it has been updated. If you like more time with the trial version due to the problems you have experienced I will be reseting the trial soon so you should get more time.

I have the trial version, with the update it stopped telling me the script was incompatable, but now the only options under both on-demand and live streams is 'stop background streaming' I click that and it says the file is damaged and nothing changes. Any advice? This is the last hope for getting hockeystreams to run smoothly on my android tablet and I will be willing to pay as soon as it is working.
Edit: I got some of the live games to show, none start until later though! Crossing my fingers. It looks like you are actively supporting this script so I am encouraged!
Edit again: It seems to only be showing the live games because the 'this game starts later' filler video is an .mpg format and your streams are in .m3u format. My upnp client does not see those files for whatever reason.

Hello. I just purchased this script a few minutes ago, but when I go to the folder on the PlayStation 3 or XBox360 it just says it's an "incompatible script - please upgrade". Is a working version about to be released? If not, I'd appreciate if my CC not be charged for this. Thanks.

Update: Never mind. I'm having problems logging into the hockeystreams site itself, so this isn't an issue with your script.

I have a full subscription and it worked fine on Monday, but Im getting the "incompatible script" error today (wednesday). We are running script v 1.2.1.

I just bought the script and it seems to work. But every game I watch pauses. I cant get it to play for more than 30 seconds before it pauses.

Reformatted my PC and the pauses stopped. But the picture is still poor on a 42" HDTV through my PS3

If you see any video at all that means the script is working as it should because all any script/plugin does is pass a video or stream link to the PlayOn server, after that it up to the server to successfully transcode the video.
Since your seeing video but the video pauses after 30 seconds or so, once the video starts try pausing it on your device and wait a minute or so, then resume playback. This will give the stream some time to buffer on you PC, maybe that will prevent the stream from future pausing if buffering is the problem.

I got the script working and have the "Best Available" checked. I tried the "Deluxe" and either way I get picture quality that is worse than the 480I picture that I get from cable TV. Should the picture be better? I went to Hockeystreams.com and tried the WMV player and it too looks very pix elated and not a great picture. I tried the Silverlight version and it is MUCH better when Im watching from the PC. Should I expect a better quality on my TV? I have 15MBS constant and I can watch TVLINKS with the megavideo account and that picture almost looks HD. By the way I just reformatted my harddrive and everything improved. I have a dualcore XPS 510 Dell.

Playon can't transcode the Silverlight streams provided by hockeystreams.com so the script uses only the Windows Media Streams. The video through Playon only looks as good as source. If the source is bad then the video will look bad and there's nothing I can do about it.

Thanx for letting us know that the quality of the stream was going to suck! If I had know before I would not have purchased it. All the video that I have watched from the Widows Media Stream look terrible! What a waste of money!

I get no username or password found from my Roku. I did go into playon, settings, plugins tab, options button and put in my username and password. I then stopped and restarted the service.

It was working yesterday. Today, weget the dreaded "incompatible script". I tried downloading a copy of script again and re-entering username/password and stopping and starting.

It seems the latest version of PlayOn is causing problems with a lot of scripts, If you can try going back to an older version of PlayOn, either by using an old installer or by using Windows System Restore.
