I haven't been able to use Ice Films for a week. I have a Premium Megavideo account, and am using Windows 7, Roku 2xs. When accessing Ice Films, the source options for Megaupload appear, but the following message appears:
Could not get premium download url, the file may have been removed, or the Megavideo account is not Premium.
Video not currently available for viewing. May have been removed from mirror site.
No matter what I attempt to access on Ice Fims, I get the source paths but no video options, just this message. I have my Megavideo user/pass entered in the Ice Films option box. It seems like it is still working for some, but not others. TV Links has been a good backup, but it's always a crapshoot if a show will stream without hiccups. Any thoughts/ideas will be much appreciated.

Testing Icefilms now on XBMC, after I updated the script, here are some random results w/ Megaupload (the first 3 are from the HD section):
Apollo 18 - could not play
The Dark Knight - started fine
Daybreakers - 2 attempts needed but started fine
G-Force - fine
Obsessed - fine
Yes Man - fine

Ice Films hasn't been working for me for a couple of weeks. I thought I'd try downloading the script file again, but when installed says version 0.0.0, and has no option button for inputting megavideo id.
By the way, this about the only plugin I view on Playon and it makes the whole thing for me. Thanks!

I have a Megavideo premium account, I am not a NEW Ice Films user, I get all green lights when I go into Playon Settings/System Check, and am currently NOT HAVING any of the problems I seeing posted here from Dec 27 on. That doesn't mean I haven't had problems in the past and had to work through them. I haven't posted this 'IF NOTHING ELSE WORKS, DO THIS' fix for a couple of months - so here it is again.
When I get completely stumped and everyone else isn't having a problem - I do the following IN THIS ORDER:
1) shut down my PC
2) shut down my wireless router AND cable router
3) wait 5 minutes
4) start my cable router back up
5) start my wireless router back up
6) start my computer back up

Is this an answer to my question? I am capable of troubleshooting and I am not a new user - a yes or no would suffice - again megaupload links are there megavideo links are not

I was so hoping this would be my fix...but alas it was not. As with midget, the megaupload links appear, not megavideo. Though I feel like this has been the case for awhile. Either way I still get the same message that the url could not be found. Just frustrating more than anything.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled - Icefilms
I have deleted all registry keys
I have searched the icefilms.info website for any posted issues with megavideo
I have downloaded a new version of icefilms and had it reinstall and update
I have uninstalled and reinstalled - playon completely - (used CCleaner to update reg links before reinstalling) removed entire directory etc.
I have rebooted everything (this goes without saying typically)
I am able to download videos with the script
TV-Links and other scripts are logging in and picking up megaVIDEO links
I can reach megavideo.com with my browser - I can login etc.
Still only megaupload links are showing - not megavideo with this script
I'm not whining - complaining or claiming to have paid money for the script. I am simply trying to report a problem so Hottamale knows and fixes as he does so diligently when he knows there is a legitimate problem.
correct me if I am wrong but this is the support thread where people are supposed to ask for help.
Thank you hootchietoad for letting me know I am not the only one with the problem
Thanks so much everyone

Midget, my answer wasn't directed specifically to you. I also am only seeing megaupload - but I don't consider that a problem as long as I can view the program/movie.

@jasapp thank you - I am not unhappy it just directly effects local archives - and wanted to make sure hottamale knows
@deltaoneas - does the version say 0.0.0.0 - if so stop the playon server and restart it - rebooting the entire computer will ensure you are not chasing an open program once that is done go back into the playon scripts check version number and make sure settings box is there. If it is put megavideo username and password (if you don't have an account only some will show/play)

What version should ice films show. mine says 0.0.0.0 and hasn't worked in a long time. Just says incompatible script.

If it says 0.0.0.0 - it hasn't updated - thats just the shell that goes to get the script - click on it - than restart playon server - it should update to 1.9.4

well nothing would happen when cicking on it so I just deleted the lua file and reinstalled again (now I have 2 iceflms in my plugins one version 0.0.0 and one 1.9.4). now the folders show but I can't get the list of shows to come up or the 1 time it did I couldn't get the list of episodes to show up. instead it gives me a DLNA error (2006).

I just updated the MV Prem library. After a restart and selecting IceFilms from your Playback device MV links should show up again.
The installer that you download on this site has a version number of 0.0.0. Once you select IceFilms from a playback device and close and reopen PlayOn Settings Manager the correct version will be displayed. (Playon Setting Mgr only updates the Plugin list when it's been closed and reopened)
You can bypass the 0.0.0 installer by downloading the script here https://sites.google.com/site/playonscripts/files/scripts/Ice_Films.lua
If you have two IceFilms listed in PlayOn settings try closing setting first then follow the instructions on deleting the script registry entries for both IceFilms entries.

Registry edit: (at your risk)
1) Press "CTRL+R" and type "regedit" or use the Run command.
2) Navigate to
Win XP - "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMediaMallMediaMallPluginsScripts"
Win 7 - "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREWow6432NodeMediaMallMediaMallPluginsScripts"
3) Delete the folder "Ice_Films.lua" and any other Ice_Films folders.
4) Restart Playon.
5) Close PlayOn Setting Manager and ReOpen (Important)
6) reenter you login info in Playon settings under Plugins/Ice_Films.
7) Restart Playon.
