jjc,
Try installing XBMC from xbmc.org. You then add a video source, then browse, then Add UpNp device. PlayOn should show up on the list select it and select OK (or something like that). PlayOn should now be listed as a source under Video. Select PlayOn then, TV Channel Pack 2. Try selecting some channels that you usually have issues with, if they work here but not with the LG then the issue is between the LG and PlayOn. If they don't work here then they may be offline or you have a PlayOn issue.
Good Luck,

I am having the same issue with the audio starting and it going to a white screen (with audio continuing).
I have no issues with other non live streams if it helps.
I am streaming from Windows 7 Ultimate, Quad Core, 8 GB Ram HP Desktop to a Roku2 XS device.
Thanks,

Same issue here too. Audio starts up but the screen remains white. I've tried a couple other live scripts and they seem to play fine (once they buffer). I've been streaming to a PS3 and also an iPod. This script worked great the first day I downloaded it (~a week or so ago) but now not so much. Is it me?

gotta be something with the actual streams and not so much the script as some of the stations work... I would think it would be all or nothing.
I tried upgrading my flash and also unchcking HW acceleration on the server box but it didn't do anything.

Is there anyway to delete certain channels on the script? For instance, I don't want cinemax on it so that my kids don't click on it at night. Is this possible or no? Thanks for the script, I love it besides that one request.

On the 22nd everything was working fine..I went out of town, came back and now under the TV file folder, the channels listed stop with Fox TV (i.e., nothing past 'F')

Fixed the issue yesterday. Sorry about that. Did a major update to the channels list and duplicated something that causes the list to end at the link that is duplicated. styx is right though, there are not a lot of working links since seeon went down. Incorperated superusvox links where possible, but again, many are not working, but whoever is running the site seems committed to finding working links.

If you have ROKU and want HGTV...what works a lot (not all the time, comes and goes)is adding TIKILIVE as a private channel to your ROKU box.

I'm running Playon from Win 7 with an xbox360 as my extender. TV Channel Pack 2 had been running 100% and my shows as entered in my google docs spreadsheet working great for several weeks. I was offline for a few weeks, now I see TV Channel Pack 2 UI has different program categories than it had a few weeks ago and my shows are no longer running or even seen in the UI. I opened the latest google doc to verify format, changed the Genre on my own sheet to match 'Live TV' (I was using it mostly to play LiveSteam channel broadcasts) thinking that may have been the source of the matter, but still after saving, refreshing, restarting PlayOn and my XBox, nada, zip, zoot - none of my channels appear in any of the categories. Has this user doc feature been removed, deprecated or is it otherwise no longer working? I did upgrade my XBox UI to the latest release this week, but everything else on Playon still works (and everything on TV Channel Pack 2 that is published by the authors appears to also still work). Please help. Thank you in advance and thank you for such a great script.

tc,
I did change the categories slightly and clean some things up up on the spread sheet. Mainly to create a shows folder rather than mixing the live tv and shows links. Sorry if this has caused any issues. The missing shows may be due to the fact that scity.tv appears to be gone and that is where a number of the shows with a stable stream were at.
I don't think the changes to the spread sheet should be causing the script not to work. It is still working fine for me with windows 7 and wdtv live plus. This question may be out of my level of understanding though.
Sorry for any issues I may have caused you,
RF

tc,
Did you try restarting Playon server? This usually fixes most issues. The script itself has not been changed or updated. If the urls you have listed on your custom sheet match any of the ones in the standard sheet this will cause an issue with the script.
The standard sheet is here Google Sheet

Thank you for the response. No blame at all, just pointing out an unusual experience on this end. I did restart PlayOn as well as the CPU, the XBox, etc. all without positive result. I goto google docs and my sheet is still there. I republished it to the web (just to be certain) and re-added the URL for it into the TV Channel Pack 2 options screen (just to be certain as well). I then re-added all of the 'genre' tags to ensure consistency with the main sheet you publish, but even after all of that, for some reason my shows are no longer appearing. If all the other users are still able to get to theirs, then this has to be local. I understand that. I just can't think of what it might be given that the Xbox UI was updated to the newest Live UI that seemed a likely candidate, but I can still get full PlayOn and plugin features otherwise, just not my own livestream entries.

Please be aware that in updating the list of links today, I have managed to do something that is causing the live tv links to not show up. This is not an issue with the script itself, but something I did to the spreadsheet that the script pulls from. I have contacted HT and he will look at spreadsheet when he gets a chance.
Sorry for any frustration this has caused.

alright gents. sorry i've been out and not tested this until now. glad the issue was found, however, I am still unable to get any of my links to show from my GDoc. I've quadruple checked the format and it appears correct still and this sheet did work before without issue. all the links are now livestream and all are 'Live TV', but none of them show. I've restarted the machine, playon, etc as well as reset the options to verify the URL for the web published doc is correct. anything more found? anyone else having an issue?

Checking 5 times seems to have made the difference now. ;-) The time stamps had 5/29/xxxx and 11:00:00 hrs for some reason. I changed these to what was in the home page notes (to 5.31 and 13:00:00) and now it's working. Thank you for catching the issues you did; thank you for patience as I sorted out this additional one on my end too.
