A small bug (big issue) was in the first version. Be sure to restart PlayOn to get the updated version that fixes this issue.
All folder should now have the fill listings.

I am not able to get this script to work. When I go to start it, I first get an error saying unable to parse. When I go back in, it now says incompatible script- need to upgrade. I have had the exact same problems with Ice films, so I finally gave up on Ice.
I have done everything. Delete and re-download. Restart playon multiple times. etc. These two scripts seem to be the only ones I have trouble with, as I use Npbs, scriptv, tvlinks, firstrow and others without issue.
I have playon premium. I have megavideo free account. I have a 4 meg internet connection. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Trey,
Try downloading this file http://www.playonscripts.com/?w=files&id=7 into your scripts folder and restart playon server. It handles all the parsing for both Ice and this script (And most of my other scripts).
Also, email me the log file for both scripts look here %ALLUSERSPROFILE%\MediaMall to hottamalecafe@gmail.com

HT-
Thank you for helping, I do appreciate it. I hate to admit this, but I do not know where to find the file you asked me to email. I did not see it anywhere in the scripts folder. Where do I locate this file?
I downloaded the patch you advised, and it allowed TVcafe to load up. However, all the icons are jumbled, as in, the pictures do not match the channel names. I also was unable to get a channel to load. It would try, but after a few minutes, it would say "unable to parse".
I also downloaded Ice, Seeon, Tvchannelpack and WWITV. None of these 4 would work at all. The first time I clicked on each I got an error "unable to parse". The second I clicked on each I got "incompatible script=need to upgrade".
Is there anything I need to know about the settings? I will await your reply and send you the folder you requested as soon as I know where it is.
From what little I saw of Cafetv, I know for sure I want to get it working as it looks fantastic. You created one awesome script.
Thanks again for your help. It is much appreciated. Best

HT-
What does "auto-select" do and should I have it turned on or off? Does it affect the channels from downloading?
Do I need to download the "scrape" file for each of your scripts -or- will downloading it once allow it to work for all of them? Does this file go in the scripts folder - or- should it be put into "Ice" and "Cafetv".
I hope that makes sense. Again, thanks for taking the time to help. Much appreciated.

The log files are located in this folder %ALLUSERSPROFILE%\MediaMall just copy and paste into Windows Explorer.
The scrape library only needs one copy.
What is your playback device? Can you access www.livetvcafe.net from your playon pc?
I'm not sure where you are seeing auto-select.

The log files are located in this folder
%ALLUSERSPROFILE%\MediaMall
just copy and paste the address in the line above into Windows Explorer. This will work on XP, vista and win7.

OK - I feel really dumb but I cannot find the file anywhere. I did a search and no luck. I actually lookws through both of the mediamall folders that came up in my search and neither contained the file you are asking for - which may be the problem. I do not believe that file exists on my computer. Please tell me the exact path to locate this file.
I also have a roku. I am running playon premium on my gateway laptop connected to the TV. I got Livecafetv to work, so to speak, but all the channel pictures did not match the name beneath them. Some channels did come up and others did not. None of the pics match the name below them.
As for the other scripts (Ice, seeon, tvchannelpack, wwitc) all zero luck. I did access the website and was able to watch the only channel I clicked - TruTV.
gateway laptop with vista - roku - playon premium
Thanks again for the help. I do appreciate it.

I deleted everything and re-installed Livecafetv. At first it all appeared to be correct and working. I loaded one channel and it worked. When I went into another folder, all the icons went haywire again. The picture is of a different channel than the name beneath it. I checked and every folder was like this.
"Auto-select" is one of the settings in Playon. When you are exiting playon, their is a settings icon. You can either turn "auto-select" on or off. I dont know what this does and have tried it both on and off and cannot figure out what exactly it is doing.
Another setting is "Server caching". This also can be turned on or off. The other is "video buffering". This can be increased or decreased. I currently have it set to increased and have been using it that way with the other scripts without issue. I kept caching on and auto select on also.
I went through ever file and folder associated with mediamall (playon) and could not locate the file you asked about anywhere. All searches stated it could not be located. I have downloaded and then deleted many plugins. Some I added back and some I did not. Is it possible I may have deleted this folder when I deleted one of the plugins?
I checked all the tests in playon and everything is green. They all state that my computer system is operating at or above requirements.
Once again, thank you for any help/insight you can give me. I have no idea why I only run into a problem with these scripts. I run several other scripts (scripttv, firstrow, veehd, tvlinks, ohtatv) without any trouble. Maybe one of the scripts I have is causing an issue?
If you could tell me the path to the file you need, I will check to see if it exists or not. If it does I will email it asap. Have a great day...night...both. Thanks

hey treyjackson,
for my computer its
C:\ProgramData\MediaMall, then u have to scroll way down
but if you copy n paste this next line:
%ALLUSERSPROFILE%\MediaMall
and put it the address line of windows explorer (win-e shortcut) or in address bar of internet explorer, you will get to the logfile.
it takes me a while to get some of these scripts working, but they always finally work...

HT,
Just curious if you know why I can watch movie from Cinemax, which is broadcasting live streaming from source "MexCast", but I can't watch anything that is broadcast from live streaming source "SeeOn". I keep getting "The server is temporary unavailable. Please try again."
Thanks for creating the script.

Smurf,
Can you watch shows on www.seeon.tv using internet explorer (must be ie as this is what playon uses)?

HT,
I can watch the first 30 seconds of the deerjohn commercial and then after that I get what it looks like buffering, then the message "The server is temporary unvailable. Please try again". I'm using IE9. Do you know any other system requirement in order to watch SeeOn? As a test I can also watch movie from True Black Televison from your other TV Channel Pack 2 script, which is broadcasting live streaming from "LiveStream"
Thanks

If you are using any type of proxy software this can cause issues with some sites. Try disabling firewalls and anti virus sw before trying seeon in ie again. You could also try removing flash player and reinstalling.

I have been waiting for days...have posted more than once about having problems with this script...and no help! One day it worked and the next it was gone...which was a shame because I loved this script. Would love to get it working again!
