What is all this?

The scripts found on this site are all designed to be used in conjunction with the software DLNA Media Server PlayOn. PlayOn serves digital video from popular sites such as Hulu, NetFlix or Amazon OnDemand from your PC to a DLNA compatible devicesuch as a PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360, and even to the Wii. PlayOn has decided to open up their software to developers via their Playon Plugin API of which many are now available.

Unfortunately not everyone has the ability, or time, to design a full fledged PlayOn Plugin. The Scripts Plugin was developed to allow a lower entrance level and ease the process of getting, and serving, new content to the PlayOn software and PlayOn's users. It utilizes the versatile Lua Scripting Language to lessen the learning curve and speed up the development of PlayOn plugins.

Make sure you download the Scripts Plugin to use all the Lua Scripts found on this page.
